ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

• Feature, documentary and short film submissions must have been completed within three years prior to June 2010 (no earlier than January 2007).
• Eligible Films:

1. Films by Greek directors, writers, producers or actors (in starring roles), (co-directors, co-writers and co-producers are also eligible) from Greece and Cyprus. Must be credited.
2. Films by directors, writers, producers, or actors (in starring roles), (co-directors, co-writers and co-producers are also eligible) of Greek descent worldwide. Must be credited.
3. Greek and Cypriot productions.
4. Films about Greece and/or with a prevalent Greek theme.
5. Films submitted to LAGFF 2009 which were not accepted, provided they were completed no earlier than January 2007. New entry fee and completed submission form required.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

All non-English films must have English subtitles.

• More than one film may be submitted, but each must be submitted on a separate DVD or VHS (NTSC) screener and accompanied by separate submission form, entry fee, and printed payment receipt.
• DVD or VHS (NTSC) submissions should be clearly marked, including the film title (in English,) running time, format and contact information. Please indicate the country of origin.
• Submission DVD or VHS (NTSC) tapes will not be returned.
• The entry fee is non-refundable and required at the time of submission. Please pay the entry fee by Paypal or through Withoutabox.com. Do not send cash or checks.

RULES & REGULATIONS

• Inclusion in the festival as well as the number, dates, times and locations of screenings will be at the sole discretion of the Festival Directors.

• Once a film is selected for presentation at LAGFF, the film’s producers or distributors agree not to hold a screening of the film in Los Angeles prior to the festival screening.
•  
• Submission of a signed entry form constitutes acceptance of the LAGFF regulations. Furthermore, the festival management reserves the right to decide all questions not specifically provided for in the regulations.
•  
• All disputes, matters of interpretation, controversies and other issues relating to the entry form or regulations shall be determined and resolved according to the laws of the State of California.

SUBMISSION MATERIALS

• Completed and signed entry form.

• Entry fee (paid through Paypal or Withoutabox.com)

• Printed payment receipt.
•  
• Two (2) preview DVDs (Region Free) or VHS (NTSC), subtitled in English. Non-English non-subtitled preview DVDs will not be considered.
•  
• All submission materials must be delivered in one package.

SCREENING REQUIREMENTS

If your film is selected for exhibition, you must provide LAGFF with:

• Copy of the selected film in either 35mm or DigiBeta (NTSC/PAL,) for exhibition.
• 10 DVD screeners (NTSC) for features and 5 DVD screeners (NTSC) for shorts.
• Photo stills in electronic form.
• Complete list of credits (cast & crew)
• Biography and filmography of the submitting filmmaker.
• Posters/postcards (if applicable)
• Trailer in beta sp, digibeta, or mpeg format (if applicable).
• Accepted filmmakers will be sent specific instructions on sending the above materials. Publicity materials will not be returned.
